My 2nd feathered star has been posted to show and tell. It was a little easier than the 1st one, is also 23" finished and was assembled using partial seam piecing. I'm glad to have that behind me! I'm enjoying looking at all of the different color choices everyone has used for their beautiful blocks.

I just finished my Feathered Star about 40 minutes ago, am I glad I got this one out of the way, and it's posted under "Show and Tell". Now I need to get back to last year's and piecing the rest of the blocks together and working on my triangle borders. Heidi in Spring, TX

I finished my feathered star and posted it a couple days ago. It is posted in show and tell. It was not hard but took about 12 hours to make. I am thinking of making another one in a new colorway.

Well I finished my Jan 2009 BOM and posted it on time I'm proud to say! It looks a little weird like candles or something in the picture. I like it in person though so I'm anxious to see how the rest of the parts will look all together. Still haven't given up on the 2008 bom slowly but surely.

I don't know how to reply to a comment. WandaM wanted to know if I fussy cut my polka dots. Nope, in fact, I've never sewn polka dots into a quilt before! I have a whole shoebox of polka dot fat quarters and the red matched so perfectly--I couldn't resist! But does anyone in the blog know how I go about posting WandaM a reply to her comment? thanks! Lois
