    Posted May Block

After I posted my block - I thought now I have to wait all month for another one.
It is just hard to stop once I get started. I did do my circles in advance and then didn't care for the color - so had to do them again - I'm sure the ones I didn't use will come in handy somewhere down the road.

Mine's done. Thankfully because this weekend we start removing wallpaper and re-doing the living room. I want it done ASAP so that I'm ready for June when it's posted.

              Have a great weekend.

I had a lot of fun with the May blocks and have just posted them in my Member Blog. I have not added the circles/berries on these because am really thinking about beads or buttons this time. Just have to look at them some more. I used some braid for the leaves in the funky Black and White block and the leaves and stem in the more traditional block are premade bias tape that I cut down to the size I needed because I really liked the colors of it and I didn't have enough of it to use for binding on a quilt or wallhanging. Hope you like my variations.

                        Denise and Ann,
Great colors and Ann it is great to see how creative we can be and enjoy it!

I redid my tulips as I thought they looked like "red hats" - not enough contrast in my shade of red. So now have to take another picture and post it.

I would love to make the trip to Colorado when we all get our quilts finished - I live in Northeast Arkansas.

                        Bonny

I love your variations. While we don't all share the same taste, I can appreciate everyone else and learn from their choices. I love looking at everyone's blocks.
