Beautiful BOMs, ladies. This is so much fun sharing with everyone. I may be behind, but I am definitely more motivated by everyone's progress.

Nice work - I love seeing everyone's work. I'm not going to worry about that left out stem. They all look lovely without it. I also love the yellow roses. After those, I think I'm going to go with yellow too.

        Nice Work!

Florence, I'm going to be a "have not"!!! I never noticed any missing leaf since I didn't consider the block to be symmetrical. I actually like the block as it is. Maybe I'll do something fun with that "missing" leaf!!!

Margo, love your block and basket fabric! I will be a "have not" and leave the extra leaf off. I always like to be different

I'm thinking that someone needs to put some kind of little critter in the space where that leaf would have been!! Ladybug? Grasshopper? Hmmmmmm....now I'm wondering if I should take mine back off!!

Margo, Thanks for pointing me here to post that I have completed my March BOM and uploaded it to my profile. I also just posted my January and February blocks in my profile although they were finished in February. It is amazing how many different looks we are achieving from the same pattern just by fabric choices.

Well, I'm finally nearing completion of preparation of stems and leaves of the March block. I decided to add the "extra" leaf. I am cheating ops: and making one-piece flowers, I notice that no one else has cheated! (Sue said in the chat that we could "make it our own", so that's what I'm doing with one-piece flowers.) Using Sharon Schamber's technique for machine applique really works, but takes time to prepare the pieces, and the March pieces are dillies! :x I love the block, no matter how much time it takes and as soon as it is finished it will be on my profile. When my daughter was visiting we figured out which would be April and May from the description in the fabric requirements and the titles of the blocks. That's as far as we got.

As mentioned in my blog, my March BOM is finished! Still working with the raw-edge invisible stitch applique. I'm getting better at it all the time. Next up....post it on my profile.
