    Show and Tell

I just sat in awe at the show and tell of all the wonderful Sedona Stars I cannot pinpoint which one I love more. You ladies really know how to give a quilter incentive.
These stars are just aaaaaaamazing. Thank you for sticking with the BOM and sharing your talents it really is worth viewing the stages and how you have decided on your fabrics. What a wonderful group you all were.

I regularly peruse the Sedona Star Show and Tell! It is so inspiring! I am just now getting started with mine and looking at the beautiful BOM's posted there helped me with my color choices and placement. Also reading the posts on each's months thread for helpful hints, pitfalls to be avoided, and general banter about each month, has been very helpful!

Thanks to all the ladies who went before me into unknown piecing territory!

PS. I am now working on Month 3 and as the quilt is growing, so is my enthusiasm for working on it! More pics will be posted soon!

I know exactly what you mean Becky! I have my color picture and as I am following that each month, I am also changing out colors here and there! I take my scraps and lay them on the design wall in different color combinations to 'test drive' a color change before I cut and sew. I think I spend as much time playing with color changes as I do sewing the blocks when I finally decide! LOL

Right now, my biggest dilemma is the little circles on Month 1 and the center circles for Months 3, 4 and 5! Such a tiny detail and I get all bogged down! Pink?? Purple?? Lime Green??? They all look good!!

Well, Margo, I might just do that!! That would be better than indecision now wouldn't it?

Or I can post pics of the color choices and have a Poll!!

Or I can do eenie meanie minie mo or rock paper scissors and just pick one!!

Gotta remember the KISS Method!! LOL

Sometimes the smallest details are the hardest part. I have a quilt all appliqued except for the eyes on the hens and roosters and I can`t decide how or what to use...

What size is the quilt? If it is a wall quilt, I would try some embellishments for the eyes. Could be as simple as a shiny black button. I'm sure you will find the perfect eyes. Good luck.
