    Pictures of quilting for inspiration

Okay, here are a couple of pictures of the back of my quilt. One of the pictures is the back when I had all of the quilting done except the settings (I was trying to figure out how to quilt them differently than I did Sarah's, it was hard to get my brain to switch gears!) and the other is when it was completely finished. They should be a pretty good starting point to get the ball rolling for the rest of you. And if you have any questions about quilting, please feel free to ask! I'm a little experienced in that area and don't mind helping at all.
--Well, it put them in the opposite order but you know what I meant!

Wow! That's impressive! It's also given me a few ideas for mine but I think it's going to take me a year just to quilt it... ops:

Your quilting is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!! I can't wait to see more pictures once you get the quilt back. It'll be quite some time before I get the top done and get to the quilting stage myself, but it's really nice to have ideas floating around in my head!!

Beautifully quilted Lisa. Thanks for sharing and for been willing to share your knowledge Like Nancy, it'll be a while before I get my quilt top done but it's great to have ideas for it or even other projects. Did you use a long arm or a domestic machine?

            Thanks everyone.
And I am a longarm quilter, but all of these designs could be done on a domestic as well. I actually enjoyed quilting this one. The day I loaded it on the frame I didn't have much time to spare before leaving for Houston, and that very day was the day my love and I broke up! It was the fastest intense custom I ever quilted... Four days! It was great therapy.

thanks for the great pictures lisa. sorry about the breakup - but once again - we see that quilting is such fabulous therapy!
if you're happy - quilt; if you're sad - quilt; if you're bored - quilt; if you're rushed for time - stroke some fabric and look at the lucious colors in your stash - you can then run out the door with renewed energy

Lisa, fabulous quilting job. I am so envious. If mine comes out 1/3 as good I'll be so greatful. Can't wait to see the completed quilt.
