    Blogging Sedona Star

    Hi everyone,

For better or worse, I have decided to blog my progress on Sedona Star. It will be a big challenge for me, WAY beyond anything I have attempted before, so it could be dramatic reading!

Is anyone else planning to update us as they go along? It would be great to have a list of blogs here. You can find my blog at http://www.joypurpose.blogspot.com. Happy stitching!

That's great, Monica, I look forward to reading your adventures with Sedona Star. I've been keeping a journal--notes, pictures and thoughts about it--in Microsoft OneNote since I decided to do Sedona Star, but don't think I'll be ready for [i]prime time[i] this time around... Congratulations for stepping forward with the blog: I like it!

Thank you Pam! I was so shocked, I didn't believe it until I saw pictures of it (from wonderful blog readers and Facebook friends) with the ribbon on there. If it's documented in pictures that means they can't change their mind and take it away, right?!

Lisa! I am excited to see that you will be helping and/or weighing in on our progress and issues as we go forward with this beautiful BOM. I first went to your blog from the GenerationQmagazine site (article earlier this month?) which said you had made the Buttons and Bows BOM. Congrats on the Road to Cal award (wish I could have left my Northern California nest, but was not to be...) and thank you for your great information and support (and of course, your blog)!

Thanks, Leslie! Yes, the GenQ article was shortly after the first of the year. Thanks for the congrats too! I should get my quilt and pretty ribbon from FedEx tomorrow! I'm here to help as much as I can!

If you are following along you may have noticed that I renamed my blog. It is now Lakeview Stitching, at http://www.lakeviewstitching.com. Your old links will still work too - it is the same blog, just a new name and url. I hope to jazz it up a bit more as I go along!
