Jumping the gun to month #2

@ Sarah I have been reading through the instructions when you say the pattern is too large for all but the 830 Bernina does that mean IF I happen to own the Bernina 830 I will be able to do this block in-the-hoop?

I'd like the answer to this one too, since I have a brand new 830 beauty.

I've had mine since they came out and I just love my machine. We had a bumpy first few months but since all the bugs have been worked out I wouldn't trade it for the world

That's great. I'm bonding well with mine...he seems so solid to me, stitches smoothly...we haven't even had an argument yet. I stil have a lot of exploring as to what it will do.

          Hi Fudsy,

The jumbo hoop for the Bernina 830 is the only hoop that is big enough to do the block for Month 2 in the hoop. So we decided that it would be a "regular" machine applique block. There's still time to make me change my mind though !!!

          Sarah :-)

Sarah, Since I have a brand new 830 LE sitting happily in my otherwise humble quilting studio, I would be delighted if you did do this for the jumbo hoop.

                  Sarah,
I would love to use my 830 jumbo hoop for Month 2. If you can find the time for the prep work required, I am sure many of us would benefit greatly from your guidance on doing applique' in the hoop early on in the BOM timeline. It's great practice for the follow-on months where you have digitized applique' designs--good opportunity to work out any difficulties we might have, and for some of us, to get a little more experience under our belts. If feasible on your end, it would be fantastic for us. But certainly understand if you can't.
                  Happy New Year!

I agree. It would be so awesome to be able to use my 830 to embroider the 9 triangles in the hoop!
