It takes a day or two for the link to be added to our Laurel Ridge BOM web page. It comes up immediately on Facebook and YouTube. Go to The Quilt Show’s page on facebook or channel on YouTube. It will be easy to find at both sites.

It seems that no information should go out until the pattern is available to all on The Quilt Show website.

I was able to download it from the website yesterday. I checked my download time and it was actually done at 2:30am Eastern Time, so that's the last thing I did on my computer before I went to bed!

I love the feather star block idea. Is there a link to the pattern for the 10 inch feathered star or lone star block. Thanks

Not that I found quickly just now. Sounds like a good one for a Tutorial. Be watching my blog for that this Summer.

I don’t have enough pink Autumn Ridge to make flower 3s. I only have a small strip that’s less than an inch wide
            where can I get more

You could try searching online. I would substitute something I already have that is similar. It's such a small shape.

Main page of Laurel Ridge BOM. Last item on that main page.

I'm going to cut my background for block 6 half an inch larger just in case the applique draws the piece in a little.

That is a good plan if not using Terial Magic as a stabilizer.

When and where will I be able to see your suggestions for alternative choices for the applique block (mo 6)?o I do like the looks of the sweet applique blocks but would like to see the option

I replaced the large applique block in Month 6 with the BASKET BLOCK and additional background fabric. I showed this on the LIVE broadcast. The background is cut 3" x 5.5" so when sewn to the Basket block it is 5.5" x 8" including seam allowance, the same size as the Large Applique blocks.

ANY 5" BLOCK can be used in that space.

I am short on Pink Autumn ridge. All I have is left over stripes from Aprils block. Hardly enough to cut out # 3 template with seam allowance. These kits usually have plenty of fabric.

I'm not successful at marking my pattern on the shiny side of the freezer paper because it smears. I'm going to turn my pattern page over and mark on the dull side of the freezer paper.

As I explained on the LIVE broadcast, that works fine. I print mine. The only thing this means is LEFT is now RIGHT and RIGHT is now LEFT, reverse mirror images.

Like Barbara I print mine but I use vellum. If you print one copy on vellum you can see thru it
and can trace from either side. So you have access to both the left and right without having to do
mirror image. Then you can lay the vellum on the glass of the printer and print onto freezer paper for one
right facing , and then flip the vellum over and print the left facing onto another freezer paper. Works great. HelenW

Lynn, I am really enjoying the making of this quilt and am much more accurate with my piecing. When you have applique pieces on top of one another do you cut away the background and other pieces?
