It takes a day or two for the link to be added to our Laurel Ridge BOM web page. It comes up immediately on Facebook and YouTube. Go to The Quilt Show’s page on facebook or channel on YouTube. It will be easy to find at both sites.Barbara Black

When and where will I be able to see your suggestions for alternative choices for the applique block (mo 6)?o I do like the looks of the sweet applique blocks but would like to see the option

I replaced the large applique block in Month 6 with the BASKET BLOCK and additional background fabric. I showed this on the LIVE broadcast. The background is cut 3" x 5.5" so when sewn to the Basket block it is 5.5" x 8" including seam allowance, the same size as the Large Applique blocks.
ANY 5" BLOCK can be used in that space.

I'm not successful at marking my pattern on the shiny side of the freezer paper because it smears. I'm going to turn my pattern page over and mark on the dull side of the freezer paper.

As I explained on the LIVE broadcast, that works fine. I print mine. The only thing this means is LEFT is now RIGHT and RIGHT is now LEFT, reverse mirror images.
-
Like Barbara I print mine but I use vellum. If you print one copy on vellum you can see thru it
and can trace from either side. So you have access to both the left and right without having to do
mirror image. Then you can lay the vellum on the glass of the printer and print onto freezer paper for one
right facing , and then flip the vellum over and print the left facing onto another freezer paper. Works great. HelenW
