Fabric Confusion
I am late to the party as usual lol, but have read all posts/photos and I think I might still be confused between the Copper Trail (Melon) and Copper Trail (Red) on the Grandmother’s color way. I have seen some progress photos using the (Red) and some in the (Melon) for the month 1 blocks. Which one is the correct one? Month one instructions just say “Orange”, “Gold”, and “Blue” in reference to each fabric. Is there a way to refer to each fabric as it is named in the fabric guide like it is in the Granddaughter’s color way? I’m worried to run out of fabric if I use the wrong one.Tags: None

The photos in the Fabric Requirements file and the Month 1 pattern are identical. They are:
Copper Trail Melon
Golden Tiles Gold
Autumn Ridge Gold
Parchment BlueBarbara Black

I am so grateful to you Barbara for always responding to us so quickly! Thanks so much! I thought it was the ‘Copper Trail Melon’ for month one, but doubted myself after seeing progress photos that looked more red to me. While my printer does match pretty close to the actual fabrics, the description labels/names do not. Is it too much trouble to request the fabric names from the guide to match the monthly descriptions going forward as in the ‘Spring’ version? I’m sure we can all work it out without the fabric names, but I think it would be a great way to remove all doubt. And on another note, I thought I was in the ‘Ask Questions Here’ tab when I posted my first question, but it looks like I started a whole new subject, which I did not intend to do. So, please delete this whole thread if you need to; I have no idea how it did it wrong lol. Thank you so much!
