Hi Barbara - I wasn't sure just where to post this. I know that the Bloc Loc ruler in the correct size is sold out on the shopping section. I went to the Bloc Loc site and even though they don't sell anything yet, they do list all their rulers and the correct size of the flying geese ruler that we need is a part of set 5. If people can't find a single ruler, they may be able to find a set 5, which includes the correct size in the set of 2. The other size is a bit smaller. I have a couple of the Bloc Loc flying geese rulers in larger sizes (2 x 4 and 3 x 6) so I was hoping that I could at least get the top part cut off evenly at the pointed edge then use a regular ruler to get the other 3 sides if this size ruler doesn't show up in time. I may also still have a Tucker Trimmer somewhere in my box of rulers, so I am going to guess that it could be used as well, although I know I didn't like it as well due to the pressure I needed to use to hold the ruler down while cutting. It's a lot easier with the Bloc Loc rulers where the seam nests in the groove.
I was astonished while looking at the Bloc Loc site at just how many rulers they have now. I only have the ones for half square triangles, the couple of larger flying geese and one of the half rectangular rulers.

I typically don’t like a ruler that is only for one size BUT BlocLoc Flying Geese rulers are amazing if it is a size you will use a lot.
I will show how to use a square ruler for the many people who can’t find this size or don’t want to buy a set at a big cost. These are engineered rulers with deep grooves on the back that are carefully made. The cost of acrylic is also a factor.
I will try to see if a larger flying geese ruler might work for the top edge as you suggest.
