MONTH 4 Blog is Up
Here is the blog for Month 4. It is especially helpful for those using the Kit, how to efficiently cut those neutral fabrics:

HAPPY EASTER Barbara Black and all the rest of the quilters on this
forum. This is truly a fun part of quilting sharing all the photos and
ideas everyone on the forum has to offer. HelenW

I just read your blog and like Judith, the comment You Do You will stick with me a long time.

Hi Barbara. Asking this question here as no “Ask questions here” topic up yet on the forum. In your blog it mentions to cut the fabric on length of grain and there is no mention of it in Jens’s pattern. Is this because of the way kit fabrics are cut or is there some other reason for it? Would it be okay to cut WOF stripes if not using kit fabrics?Last edited by Sheridan D.; 03-31-2024, 02:42 PM.

Thanks, Barbara for all the information in your blog. I am now WAY behind as I've had life get in the way. My husband & I visited the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival in Hampton, VA and also visited our son who is stationed at Naval Station Oceana, Virginia Beach. Then I got sick with bronchitis and I am working for the Red Cross as the staffing lead for the tornadoes that came through Ohio a couple weeks ago. Oh, the Daughters of the American Revolution state conference also happened a week ago. Plus I have quilts that have to be done for my long arm business. Maybe by sometime this summer I will have a chance to catch up. I think the log cabin blocks will be done well before I do the blocks from Feb and March! I'm still reading the blog and all the forum posts, I'm just not sewing any of my own blocks right now. My husband is not happy that I have a couple large piles of fabric in the dining room that were pulled for this project. I'm thinking I may have to move them back to the sewing room to keep him from complaining any more, even though it's more convenient to see them all piled up in one spot where I can better visualize the colors together. I guess some day, I need to clean out the sewing room but my sewing stuff seems to migrate all over the house.
