Debbie W. I drew a 16 inch block in EQ8. You can take a screenshot of the center block and bring it in on the Image Worktable
and resize it to 16 inches. They usually come in small. Then use the trace feature to draw the lines. You might be able
to do that with this screenshot of my block. If you just bring in an image, you can not use the fabrics feature. It stay the same
as a photo. If you bring it in as fabric it will show the whole block each time you put it in a patch. I had to use the Edit using
partitions feature with the arc feature. It was not an easy block to draft. I tried doing a 8 inch 1/4 section but had trouble with
    that too. HelenW

Wow Helen!!Yours is really great!. I don't know about partitions. I tried bringing in a snapshot of the center block and tracing it. But my "snap" grid was not exactly what I needed and some of my arcs and fan handles are different sizes. But it is good enough to audition colors. This was what I ended up with for now.

UPDATE on my previous post. I realized I could turn off the "snaps" after I drew the star and the arcs. It worked much better. So here is a pic from that mockup.

Looks great to me. The thing I like about partitions is is puts those nodes in perfect spot. You
should go to the EQ8 site and type in search How to Use the Partitions feature. You won't regret
          the time spent learning. HelenW

Played around with it last night and got the whole quilt in. Used a custom layout to put all blocks in place. Not using this instead of original pattern as not 100% confident all measurements are right. Using just for colour options and finding with the scrappy nature of the quilt that just winging works. Besides, I look forward to each month’s pattern drop.

Sheridan D. You just made the perfect coloring page!!! It looks beautiful. Wonder if Barbara Black
would put it where others could print it and have a coloring page. Lots of quilters don't have EQ8
and a number of years back Barbara got a coloring page from one of the designers, but maybe if she
just asked permission from Jen and you sent her your EQ8 file she could do it. I know she has
          EQ8. HelenW

Sheridan, would you email me the image of the Coloring page so I can try to make it large enough to use? bbquiltmaker@gmail
I saved this photo but it's small and when we enlarged it it's a bit fuzzy.
          Thanks

COLORING PAGE now available on the main BOM page. I put a Sticky Note on the Forum making it easy to find.

Sheridan, thank you for doing this.
