Thank you for your quick response. One of the reasons I prewash is to shrink the fabric.

What is going to happen for all of us aussies who want to make the BOM 2024 who also happen to be star members??? I live in Adelaide South Australia and is desperately wanting to make this BOM. I tried to make this year's BOM by Sarah, but my health became a huge issue and I had to give up on that idea.
Now, I learn about Jenny Kingswell BOM 2024. I really need to make this block of the month. I am wanting to buy the templates. Is Jenny going to have any templates for us Australian star members as postage is an issue??????? Plus buying the kit from the quilt show will be huge expense I can't afford. So, I will make mine from fabric based already in Australia. But worried I won't be able to buy the BOM templates????? Can Jenny make a batch of templates for Australian star members and buy from her website? Is this something that can be arranged please. I don't want to miss out on making this BOM from the quilt show. Julie

Same. Their response was ... "Thank you. We're excited! The Quilt Show have the rights to the pattern and sales of templates for 12 months and then we will be able to release it here in Australia. Unfortunately we can't sell from here until mid November 2024.
Happy Stitching"... but I am still praying that we can buy the template s in Oz (like we did with Sarahs quilt) as I cant afford them otherwise ... about $A150 - $A200 including shipping)
-
Kristin from The QuiltShow here-
We discussed this at great length yesterday and ultimately decided that it wouldn't be fair to the many customers from Australia who have already purchased the template sets from us here in the USA and had them shipped by the US Postal Service at significant expense to offer a more competitive shipping option after they had already shopped. We are very sorry that we can't accommodate everyone- we wish we could!
Keep in mind that all of the template patterns ARE included in the Pick a Petal pattern, and that the physical template set is not required to make Jen's beautiful quilt, rather it is a helpful addition.
Thanks,
Kristin
