Love how the colour of your house blends outward to your border fabric that sets the block. Great work.

I am enjoying this BOM. I was away most of March so I was behind when Month 4 came out. I was able though to catch up and complete Month 4. I did do it differently. I machine appliqued all the pieces. I am very pleased with the results. I am also enjoying all the variations. Beth Palluzi

What I learned: Try to really look at the position I am placing objects before sewing down. For instance what direction is it facing? Also, joined my guild's group that does hand work and watched as a few more experienced needle-turn applique-rs did their magic; particularly back basting needle-turn.which is my preferred method ( I really do not like to make templates) All in all, I am pleased with it so far. Am thankful for this forum and Barbara's blog/videos!

I stiched down the middle leaves of cornflowers before I have sewn the blocks together, but I think this works only with the starch method.

I am loving this BOM!! I had an issue with petals overlapping also. I'm using prepared edge applique, would that make my pieces just a bit larger than needle turn? I also left a couple leaves off because they didn't fit where they should.

Hi, I've changed a few times...I am still fighting my B Software V9...It won't let me move my circles onto my USB stick. It did before , but not now. So I've also had time to make a few changes. Most is not sewn yet, waiting to figure out my program. Cus I'm machine stitching around my circles. But the big thing is...I changed my cone flowers to Painted Daisies. Here she is... image widget

I love your color choices! I have a question about your layout though. It appears the head of the flowers is off the end of the background fabric. Shouldn't you have left at least a 1/4" to make it easier to connect to the next border?

Found this spot!... Hi Donna, Everything since I've made my circles are only pinned in place. When I figure out my problem, (can't get my circle stitches I made in my software, to be moved to a USB stick), then I can sew it together. Then they'll be in their correct spot. I just can't find the help I need for that. Wish I was a computer nerd.
