Norma, is your membership up to date? Do you see your face/name that shows you are logged in? I sometimes have to log out then back in again to be able to access everything.

If so on both of those, Submit a ticket to resolve your issue. The link is at the bottom of this page.

There will be soon. I recorded the information after getting the gremlins fixed. It will be posted soon.

I don’t discuss anything about cutting for the cabin. Just follow the pattern instructions to make it. Watch Sarah’s Show and videos first. She recommends making the cabin BEFORE cutting the border strips. If your cabin comes out a little small, cut the borders wider so you can trim the center to 6.5”. No one will know your cabin is a tad small.

Well I was anxiously waiting for Barbara's video. I ordered the background fabric and had it shipped to NF, NY (I am Canadian). Appreciate the timely delivery to a cross border pickup site. Going Monday to pick fabric up. Once I see the actual colors in the background, will look through my stash and see if I need more fabric. Hoping to machine applique this quilt. I got stuck on last year's month 1, making dozens of tiny circles by hand sewing. Hoping for an easier start to this BOM quilt. Love anything Australian designed!

Marian - this month's block 1 is not too involved. I was able to make it just after watching the show and reading the instructions. I will say the house is tiny!
I am hoping to machine applique too! I have not done much applique at all. Definitely nothing on a quilt this size

I love to needle-turn appliqué but I’m hoping I still love it after all the little circles.

I thought it would be daunting too but you just eat them one at a time and then Voila! they are all done.

Please give suggestions and guidance for us machine applicators. Reviewed the videos on machine appliqué, and still not sure how will sew on the tiny circles.

I will write about that on my Month 2 blog. I would use the same stitch for the circles I described for the Month 1 stems on the month 1 blog. On the smallest circles it will be stitch, pivot, stitch, pivot, etc.
