Irene Blanck did not include templates for the Dresden Plate petals and circle. Most likely because her instructions were to use the Paper Pieces pre-cut template shapes.
There is now a page with the full-size Dresden Plate in the Patterns/Documents tab for Month 3. Use this full-size pattern to create your petal and circle templates.
NOTE: check your printing . The Dresden Plate measures 3.75" from tip to tip and the center circle is 1.25" -- these are the finished sizes. The 3.75" Dresden Plate is appliqued to a 4.5" background square to create the 4" finished block that goes in the center of the pieced block for Month 3.
This same Dresden Plate is used in Months 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9--it is the center of each of the 6 pieced blocks. Months 3 and 4 are 4-Patch on Point blocks. Months 6-9 are Shoo Fly blocks.Last edited by Barbara B.; 03-02-2022, 12:45 PM.Barbara Black
