Color My World Block 1, LATE!
Late to the party and new to the site! I saw someone's CMW post on FB, and it inspired me to join TQS to begin this project. I have found it to be SO helpful in using up my favorite scraps, KFC. Geez, could I use anymore initialisms? :-)
Here are my blocks thus far. Do you see anyone peeking out of windows?
P.S. I did several searches in the Forum, looking to post my beginnings within that thread, to no avail.Last edited by Cynthia T.; 05-22-2021, 05:24 PM.Tags: None

set up so everyone can see everyones progress. Also one she set up for asking questions. Being late to start you can benefit
from everyone else's questions and even color selections etc. I took a screen shot of the two places to post you photos and questions. HelenWLast edited by Helen W.; 05-23-2021, 10:37 AM.

I'm just starting my House 1. I precut my pieces first. As I am sewing them together, I am finding that there is very little room for error. Usually, with paper piecing, there is extra fabric on the sides and top when putting together. Am I doing something wrong? Will I have enough fabric if these pieces are too small to make the house? It seems like the cut sizes should have to add a 1/2 inch on the sides and top/bottom.
