My Small House Ring is 3d :(

I sewed all the small houses together with what I thought were very accurate seam allowances! My ring is more like a squished donut. Before I start taking it al apart, does anyone have any tips on finding the problem?

Sara, if your patterns were accurate, your Small Houses should be about 11" tall, including seam allowances. The Mariner's Compass should be 14.5", and with the Inner Roads attached, that circle should be 18.5" across. The blank hole in the Small Houses should be 17.5" across--so the Mariner's Compass/Inner Road circle will fit.

Be sure your seam allowances on the Small Houses are really 1/4" ALL THE WAY DOWN--and especially at the start and end of each seam. That is where we tend to get off and that really impacts the finished size/shape of this circle.
