    Trees on dark background?

    I'm sure this has been asked before... if you use a dark background, what would you use for the trees? Thanks!

    Brown or tan, something that has some contrast with the background.

      RuthAnnG, You don't have to use bias tape if you don't want to. I just used brown flannel with fusible on the back. Drew a tree
      on the tree template, traced it onto fusible web and after fusing to back of fabric cut it out. Fused to houses and did a couching stitch to cover the edges. HelenW

        Thank you!! I think making my own bias binding will be the way I go. I appreciate your replies and Helen, I love your houses!
