    Fusible bias tape in Australia

    Hi!
Can any Aussies point me in the direction to where they got the fusible bias tape please? Does Spotlight have it? (I can’t find it online as their search engine is terrible)! I did search forum posts but nothing came up either.
    Cheers,
    Amy

Hi Amy, I bought a different brand from my local quilt shop. Comes only in 5m but Oz Quilts has it. Works out about the same price as the Clover.

I made mine using the Bias strip Sasher collection made by Pauline's Quilters World from Australia. Her web site with plenty of videos is: www.pqw.com.au
It was so easy and much cheaper.

I’m just starting this BOM in December 2021 and was looking for an alternative to the rolls of fusible bias tape. Thanks. I’m also wondering if it needs to be cut on the bias? Will it be used on a curve? Thanks.

Some is used on curves, like the trees on Small Houses and Little Houses in the City. Some is more straight, like the Eiffel Tower, although there is one curved section in that. Look at the patterns to see where the bias is used. I know several people who made their own. You can buy a Clover 1/4" bias tape maker that allows you to add a fusible strip on the back OR one that doesn't add the fusible.
