Helen, don't worry, they’re going to be fine! I basted them together and made a tiny adjustment in a couple of the seams just to make sure it will be possible to make it a quarter circle. They’re not pressed because I want to take it apart and put it together again when all the houses are done. Thanks again!

Katiewells, yes, scroll down in this topic for photos.
I made 3 houses today using the #10 Edgestitch foot and what a treat! Wish I had thought to try that last May when I was making the sample/test quilt. Fast and accurate, really a great help.

So much quicker than trying to hold and see or use pins to avoid shifting.
Adorable!

So many of you quilters are accomplishing so much!
I'm barely finished with one house...having trouble with the freezer paper...my machine is acting up...but I'm not giving up....yet.

Originally posted by "mgratrix" post=153102Barbara, somewhere I viewed a video with you suggesting that a new PDF will be coming out for the background fabric. It was going to minimize the loss of fabric waste. I cannot fine this anywhere. Could you please attach the pdf in this forum.
Thanks
Monique
I re-did the video too, it is under Instructional Videos for Month 1 also.

I guess, my issue, like many others, is my printer is not coming up with the correct size, even though I set it a 100% and the 1 " square measured
correctly. I read most all the posts on the forum, so I have tried a lot of common, fixes like Barbara's 102% that worked for some people. I am a determined person, so I will make this
beautiful pattern one way or another. I have cut more paper houses from samples than I like to think about. I don't plan to make my houses until I get the Month 2 Mariners Compass block templates, so I will continue to play around with this. I am still thinking about appliqué rather than pieced houses. I would be easy to make adjustments for that.
Your houses look great. Can't wait to see you quilt progress. HelenWHelenW
