No, it is not quilt as you go. Wendy chose the photos of the finished quilt for the covers of each month's pattern.

I am an intermediate quilter and I did one project with some paper piecing. I ordered the kit on line. Am I getting over my head doing this BOM?
I plan to do some practice pieces before cutting the good fabric.

You can do it. There will be a learning curve with the first house or two then it will fall into place. The most important thing will be sewing the houses with a very accurate 1/4” seam allowance when you begin joining them to each other, starting in month 3.

We have lots of resources to help so take advantage of the videos, my blog, and watch the Forum for good questions and answers.

Thankyou Barbara for guiding us along this journey - day 1 - printed pattern, read pattern twice and watched video - a new day will see me tackle my first 2 houses on this epic quilt.
