Ruler to trim wedges?
I just watched the live facebook feed I realized that there may be a commercially available ruler to trim the wedges to size. If I don't already have the right size I would love to get it during a Christmas sale. Can you please tell me what the wedge size is? Is it 10 degrees???? 18 degrees??? The Dresden ruler??? ThanksTags: None

There is no wedge ruler for this quilt. The circle contains 32 Small Houses so that is 11.25 degrees--no ruler exists that size. The paper pattern is used to be sure your wedges are the correct size--once you sew 32 of them together you want to have a complete circle, 360 degrees.Originally posted by "smardl" post=152234I just watched the live facebook feed I realized that there may be a commercially available ruler to trim the wedges to size. Thanks for the quick reply. I confess I am always trying to find a short cut like a wedge ruler to make things easier. A girl can dream.Originally posted by "bbquiltmaker" post=152249There is no wedge ruler for this quilt. The circle contains 32 Small Houses so that is 11.25 degrees--no ruler exists that size. The paper pattern provides the exact size and angle needed for the Small Houses to fit together. There is no need for any kind of wedge ruler to trim the houses--the edges of the paper pattern provide the needed precision.
If anyone wants to redesign the pattern to use a ruler, give it a shot. If it all fits into a perfect circle, that's good. My circle fit perfectly so I would stay with what I know works.
