Here is my Block 3 using a striped fabric for less seams. I strip pieced the sections then used a template to cut the units. I have some Papilio Inkjet Ultra Cling Clear with removable adhesive that makes great see-thru templates. Much easier than ironing on freezer paper. The adhesive lasts for multiple units, then I just add double stick poster tape when it no longer sticks. I almost decided to finish at block 3 and make a table runner but the 3 blocks need additional blocks to make them work together. That striped fabric would have made a good backing for a table runner.
