My three months’ blocks. I’ve never used the forum before so taken me a while to understand the tabs and how it works.

Still have the borders to add but thinking on that still

That's a great idea, Karin, using a border fabric instead of sewing lots of narrow strips. I've ordered a striped fabric for mine. I hope it works. If not I will be strip piecing long strips together before cutting the shapes. In the meantime I decided to redo Block 1 in my new colors. I added some diamond shapes at the points so I could use some of my focus fabric in the block. Wish I had taken the time to fussy cut them. Everyone's blocks are so different. These are going to be some amazing quilts!

Vintagelady, great use of black in the center of the units--very striking.

I made 8 inch blocks using raw edge appliqué and edge stitching pieces. I made some
variations in some of the blocks. I used the line drawing provided in month 1.I am having
so much fun with this BOM.Still need to make the appliqué borders and quilt it.
