    Hi Barbara,

Do you have suggestions for reversing the applique printout?

    Thank you.

Irene, the applique' page in Month 10 says the shapes are reversed but since they are almost symmetrical, that hardly shows. Shape H is the only one that appears to be reversed. As for the pattern pages, sometimes your printer settings allow you to print "reverse mirror image". Mine did not. Whether or not the patterns need to be reversed depends on the applique' method you are using. You can always print on very lightweight paper or Vellum/tracing paper--then you can see through the paper and use it whichever side you want. If you print on regular paper and need to transfer the design in reverse, use a lightbox or hold it up to a window and trace the design on the back of the paper, giving you a reverse design.

Since these shapes are so symmetrical, I wouldn't think you would really need to go to that much effort.

      I hope this helps.

          Question for Barbara:
I fear I am missing something in the latest instructions regarding borders, namely, what size does one cut the borders? Your assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
