I have not been able to download Month 1. when I hit the download button, my screen has a logout button. I can download the Introduction, I even tried using a different brower without success. Is anyone else having issues?

I am sorry a couple of you are having trouble downloading. I just was able to download using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Rather than click the "Download" button, can you select the words on the left with the Adobe symbol that say "Patchwork Barn Month 1.pdf"? When I click that it also opens. When I select those words, it asks me at the center bottom of my screen if I want to open or save or cancel.

Hopefully, this will help.

Are you logged in as a current Star Member?
I received your email. I did a test just now and tried to download Month 1 instructions without logging in first and got the same response you describe.

Then I logged in - I am a current Star member - and had no problem downloading Month 1 instructions. It worked perfectly.
If you continue to have problems, I suggest you contact Customer Service. I am sure they can help you resolve the problem.
I hope you resolve the issue quickly and start on your quilt. It looks like fun.

Since early yesterday, I did everything, from opening the site in both Chrome and Edge, checking that my account is and rebooting my computer twice. After posting today, I cleared my cookies and connected to the pdf without a problem. I don't pretend to understand why, but I have my download and I'm happy. Thanks for your help.

I just cut all my blocks out for Month 1 and Month 2, ready to get busy! I did notice on Month 1, Block 3, piece C that it is marked on pattern to cut from light fabric, yet sample is using a dark fabric for the piece C squares? Which fabric is the correct one to use?

Whichever you prefer is fine. If using the Blue Sky and if you want to match the photo, do that. With your own fabric, select whatever you like. There really is on right or wrong with either layout.
