    Gift wrapping a quilt...........

    OK so I have to give my niece her quilt. Folded on the bias, the quilt measures roughly 20" x 23" (laying flat not rolled).

    I supposed I can roll it and stuff in a pillowcase, but not sure I want to do that.

    I have no flat boxes that large.........

    Ideas please............

          I like sticking mine in a pillow case and then putting a ribbon around the neck of the pillow case.

            A couple of years ago I gave four of our grandkids quilts for Christmas. Instead of trying to wrap them I made pillowcases from coordnating fabric and used them as gift bags. Reusable gift wrap!

                I saw a video of someone who rolled her quilt, then "coiled" it up kind of like a slinky and it fit it square boxes. She did this to mail her quilts to shows and says it was relatively unwrinkled. I'll see if I can find the video.
