Let us introduce ourselves
I was just on another page when someone queried as to who I was... I realized that we all get curious about each other. Yes there is the profile but that is pretty much answers to formatted questions and things change. I just thought this might be a little more personal in nature.... So what do you want the other to know about YOU:
My name is Anna... I am the " web master" for Elaine 's Quilt y Shop in Hadley MI. Elaine does not have time to nor the patience to learn how to program a web page. The web page is totally unsophisticated but fun to do and I can find out about sales, classes, what is going on a head of time I kind of do it as a friend, volunteer and I have limited skills but we find it helpful to advertise on a web page.
The RAGS comes from my maiden name, I have been RAGS OR RAGGY all my life.... my DH still calls me that since we have known each other since he was 12 years old and my brother's best friend. I robbed the cradle with him as I am six years older than he is; but before you think we were kinky we did not get married til I was 40 years old. We have one daughter who just had a baby boy this spring and he is the light of my life. I share his pictures at the drop of a hat.
Quilting wise ... I make lots of blocks and I actually finish one or two quilts a year. I try any technique at least once. I tend to talk more quilting than actual quilting. FRankly, I get toooooo tired to sew at night and if I sew at night I do a crapppy job so I usually just sew on the weekends. I belong to two guilds and several groups. I have my evening free since my DH works second shift so I like to go to the meetings for the social connections and the beautiful quilts. I take a lot of pictures and post them on line at web shots.
I just realized I have been coming to this forum for about 15 months.
That is my life in a nutshelll ...... HAPPY QUILTING

Hi Rags, My name is Debbie:
I've had a needle and thread in my hands as far back as when I was 6  I sure don't want to tell you how long that is. just say T.V. was just coming out. I love thread and fabric, wow  , has that come along way.
I run my own business, "Living Threads", it is a longarm business. I have had this business now for 7 years. So I get to see some beautiful quilts. I have been lucky enough to work with some unbelievable artistic quilters. As a matter of fact this weekend was our quilt guild, and I got an email this morning from my client that the quilt she and I worked on won viewers choice  that was great!!!!!
I look pretty much like my character drawing. A friend drew that for me, for my business card. You should see some of the others.
I am entering a new faze in my life, it's called just DO IT!!! Let's see if that works.
I love your tilda thread. It keeps me going. So much life gets in the way, for us all.
If there is anything else you would like to know, just ask
Debbie

Hi I'm Rachel. I have been sewing off and on since I was 11. My Grandmother taught me. She was awesome and I miss her more and more everyday. Rags I love the fact that you love to show off that lil boy so keep it up. I have not been able to work for the past 2 years and it is driving me nuts. I am a workaholic. Everytime I mention a house project or trying to go back to work my DH buys me something quilt related.
The past 2years have not been easy. I have 2 great boys Alex 15 and Elijah 10. They are my gifts from God. I have to remind myself that sometimes though like the other day when they broke my sewing machine. But as in all households accidents do happen, and that was an accident.
Rachel
