Thank you one and all for the posts here and the e mails. My mailbox has been busy. This place is absolutely the BEST. Not only do I get inspired by wonderful quilts and wonderful guests on the show or in the blogs but I have made so many friends and some even I have gotten to meet in person.

I have been struggling with this chronic anemia and no real diagnosis or treatment other than blood transfusions and my poor blood vessels are getting tired of being poked. LOL (to say nothing of the rest of me) But I have hope. Through my wonderful friend, Dana (dlquilter), Ihave found a new doctor and hope to get in to see him about April first or so. So keep on praying for me I just need to stay "charged up" until we can get to Memphis to see the new doctor. And keep your fingers (or toes if you need your fingers to quilt) crossed that this time there will be some answers. Love and many thanks to all of you Ann aka snowplow

Oh Ann bless you I'm glad your post is on here I hadn't seen the thread so I didn't have to worry too much. Thanks Kathy for getting the word out! Blood's one of those things we don't think much of until it starts going wacky-- My mom is in Chemo for Leukemia, yet my sis and DH both have to have phlebotomies for (her) too much iron and (him) too many red cells. Wish we could do a direct transfusion of some sort
Hugs to you and I hope you're back at the sewing machine soon!

Ann I was wondering where you were I hadn't seen your post. I am glad to hear you are getting back on track. Don't get too comfy in those hospitals. Rumor has it you have to be sick to get there and mental to work there. That isn't even the worse of it they wake you up to give you sleeping pills. They want you to drink plenty of fluids so they can test your bladder by seeing how long you can hold it before they take you to the bathroom. I would send you some CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP....BUT I CAN'T FIND THE KIND OF CHICKENS THAT LAY THE NOODLES. Have you thought how ironic you going from being a quilter to being the pin cushion? Get better soon we miss you. Keep smiling, Rachel

Ann, I really hope you get to feeling better. My grandmother fought for years with chronic anemia and the constant blood transfusions that came with it, and I remember how frustrated and miserable she was about it. I'll be praying for you.

Rachel - you crack me up!!!
