    Oreo Truffles.... to die for

Chrush in your food processor ONE package of Oreo (regular ) cookies till totally pulverized.

Mix in soften Cream Cheese ( 8 ounces) I do this by spoon because it make a really big mess in the food processor if you try and do it in there. YOU REALLY HAVE TO MIX IT WELL and it takes a long time before it is totally incoporated. You can add tsp vanilla to the cream cheese when you whip and soften it up.

Using the smallest baller you have ( ice cream or melon baller) make small round balls of the cream cheese oreo mixture. Put them on a tray .

Dip each ball in melted chocolate... I love using a good milk chocolate but dark will do... semi sweet chips are okay. (SORRY I NEVER MEASURED THE EXACT AMOUNT USED AS I MELT MY CHOCOLATE IN BATCHES. ) Dipping in the chocolate makes these truffles double in size.

Dip once or twice in the chocolate until totally covered.... Let cool on a wax paper sheet ( parchment shiny side up)

When all the balls have been coated in chocoalate.... Drizzle with melted white chocolate. ( I melt the white chocolat chips in a small plastic bag snip the end and drizzle over the chocolate balls....

Serve in little paper truffle cups..... Makes about 36 if you use the really small baller. THESE ARE ADDICTING.

    mERRY CHRISTMAS

Well, for some of us...............self included...........eating much of this kind of wonderfully delicious food.............is to literally DIE FOR!

Since having heart disease and now being newly diabetic, I'm trying to quilt instead of think about food!

It certainly does remove one of life's great pleasures. I know, ....you can always eat small amounts, but for me, small amounts always seem to grow into large amounts, especially if it's really good!!!
