    Fusible quilt grid recommendations

I purchased a kit which will involve piecing hundreds of quilt squares. I would like to use a fusible quilt grid to line them up and then sew down the entire length of the seam, but the one time I tried using a fusible grid, the seams were stiff. Can anyone recommend a soft brand of grid that they enjoyed using? I don't want to say the brand I tried because I would like your honest opinion of what you like. Thank you.

Hi Pat C. I have used Pellon 906 fusible interfacing for a number of grid designs. It is not pre-printed. I just lay it on
my cutting mat and draw the lines on with a fine sharpie marker ising the lines on the mat. I have used Quilt Smart printed interfacing for some
quilts. and they do have grids. The stuff I bought from them was soft. I did both a lone star quilt and wedding ring quilt
    and it worked well.

In the photos I printed grid paper from the internet at the size I wanted and taped pages together and then tracing the
    lines on the Pellon 906.

Notice how I left a scant area between the squares. It makes it way easier to fold over the long
    lines you will be stitching.

Also clip at intersections to help things lay flat. I did a lot of mini mosaic stuff There are you
tubes on Mini Mosaic quilting on interfacing, and a book. Lots of good tips.

The piecing in the blue heron wall hanging was done by the mini mosaic technique. I bought the
book and watched the you tubes before I attempted to make up my own design to add blocks to Toni Whitney's
    heron pattern.
