Rosemary, your lounge looks so nice. I really love those windows. They are very special. And let me know when Dawn is coming over for a glass of wine. I'll hitch a ride with her! B) Your stash sounds very interesting. I do like how beautiful your bins of folded fabrics look. Love the color!

Heather, can't wait to see your son's graduation quilt. I know it will be a beauty!

Well, I am done! The quick, easy bedroom do over is finally done. Whew! And guess what I love it! I've finally got all the pieces and parts of the bedroom (except for the exercise bike  ) looking coordinated. I'm so glad to be done.

          Here are two views.

I will go on Amazon right now to find a dust ruffle to finish the look.

This was a lot more work than I expected but I learned a lot.

Oh Geneva, your bedroom is lovely and so peaceful! Beautiful! The bed runner is really lovely.

And from your previous comment on "finding" the FQ set of fabrics and now giving them a good use.... maybe I'll keep some of those that I have!

I've had to do a ton of cleaning in my personal sewing room w/ first water dripping, repairing the washing machine pipe, and then hubby deciding he would replace all the ceiling panels. Yeah and thank you for doing that without my begging!! I just never, never, never expected ceiling panel dust in minescule pieces to dust ev.er.y.thing. A lot of "stuff" has hit the trash and much has been more organized.

I dyed some silk/cotton blend fabric today. I didn't want the color to be screaming loud but it is actually much lighter than I expected. I overcorrected more than necessary. But after a few hours out & about, I looked at it again and I think I will keep it this way. I dried it and it is ironed. Tonight, I went to get out the flannel backing I just bought in January. I wonder where I put it now?????

Thank you everyone for your nice comments about my bedroom. I was a tad bit disappointed with the coloring in the photo. The duvet cover is 4 different blues. When I make the bed in the morning it makes me happy.
Lotti, that is my bed. But here is one of the guest rooms we have. You are welcome to use it!

Rosemary! A dust ruffle for the exercise bike! Why didn't I think of that? And, I'd love a mug rug.... Shall I pick one up when I'm there? My sweetie made limoncello yesterday. It won't be ready for 80 days, but maybe we can get together again then.....

Joyce, your silk sounds interesting. I'm sure it will prove to be perfect for something you aren't even aware of right now. Just like my fat quarter bundle. And don't you wish you could just suck all the particles out of the room with a big whoosh? I hate cleaning.....

                        Happy March everyone! geneva

I only have about a meter and a half to finish sewing on the binding to this wedding signature memory quilt. We put all the small signature blocks into a guestbook for everyone to sign, and then I took the scrapbook apart, after pictures were taken of it, and then put the blocks with signatures into this quilt. The bride and groom chose the pattern and the idea of fuschia and purple, which is the colour the bridesmaids wore (and the guys had purple ties! The fabrics are Kaffe and batiks. Their names were hand quilted into the binding. Richard *heart* Nadia *heart* Richard etc all the way around.
