Merry Christmas to you, as well! We are having our first Christmas back in the US as residents instead of visitors, and it's quite nice! My mother in law & sister in law surprised us on our arrival with a tree set up & decorated in our temporary home -- such a wonderful treat! And I put the hanging sleeve on the wall hanging for my grandma & delivered it to her yesterday --- she cried! She absolutely loves it, so does my grandpa, and she took down the artwork she had hanging over her sofa and hung the wall hanging instead! Made my Christmas!!
I need to find the calendar where I jotted down mug rug swappers for January so I can start on that....
Hope all have a wonderful holiday!
(and I see I need to go update my signature and such, as we are not in Brasil any longer! oops!)

Wendy, we are back in Texas (Houston area). Almost all of our family is here in Texas, mostly within 30 minutes drive-time, some a bit further away. Only my dad lives out of state (Colorado), and one of my husband's aunts (Missouri). It is so nice to be near family again -- my grandparents are only 10 mins. from where we are now!
I posted a photo of the wall hanging somewhere around here...I'll find it and upload to this thread. I had posted I think asking for info on how to do a hanging sleeve; I *think* I showed the photo, but not sure....Lyndhurst, Ohio USA - East Side Suburb of Cleveland, Ohio

Here is the link where I posted the wall hanging beforeAnd Karen, yes, the boys were so thrilled about the tree. We'd told them we likely would not go to that expense this year, as there is so much other stuff we've been needing to buy. When my in-laws heard us mention that, they kicked into gear and did it for us. Blew us all away, and especially the boys.

Today is my birthday and with the exception of being in my office and not in front of my sewing machine so far it's been a very good day. Just one thing. Although it was "very sweet" of him does anyone else think it's a little suspicious that I would get a birthday greeting from my dentist bedecked with heavily frosted, chocolate cupcakes? Just askin'
