Anne, that quilt is wonderful and I am so glad that you persevered to show it to us

By the way, you can upload a total of 3 photos per post. The only way to make it upload quicker is to have less megapixels per picture - I always photograph at 7mp, and it does take quite a while to upload each picture.

                Well done, Anne! Great pictures!

I'm sure we can all appreciate the funny side of that quilt, but to get 'Best of Show' was quite controversial, especially seeing that there were lots of quilts that were jaw-droppingly beautiful and/or amazingly quilted. Last years 'Best of Show' was also given to a humorous quilt. I wonder what that says about quilting in Europe. I would prefer to send out a message that shows the excellence of what we have to offer overhere.

Agree it was most amusing in show but not the most skillfull.

I was also suprised at the Quilters Guild winning quilt but there again I always disagree with the judges.

It was a great show, but that isn't my quilt (I'm not that clever) It was best in show at The Festival of Quilts in Birmingham UK in August
