My first row looks lame and the measurements are off. My husband says my son may not want it and that if no one needs a quilt in this family what is the point of making quilts. My bad. At least I put the 12 fat quarters aside to buy tomorrow during fat quarter sale Monday.
I do know my daughter is liking the quilt that I was making and will try to post the results here so far.

No, but I have done some gigs that were like singing on the inside of a suitcase.

I'm guessing the suitcase acoustics don't add the nice echos that bathroom acoustics do. I wonder if it would be better if Lorchen put the suitcase in the bathroom???

Shaking head...... Rita is resting and preserving her energy for Birmingham. Thanks for reminding me about food and drink. I'll pop a bag of Maltesers and a sachet of cappuchino in the suitcase. When I walk past the suitcase I hear gentle snoring noices.

Snoring? Moi? Jamais! Perhaps you are mistaking the sound with the crunching of a malteser Lorchen?

Hope this uploads. I think this quilt is worth doing. I think he'll like it. My thoughts are that to be a good quilt, the block fabric or the size of the blocks has to be interesting looking to work.
