where to find free easy quilt patterns

Any ideas? I think I am too picky. I have Clotilde and Keepsake quilting catalogs. I found a nice easy new pattern at Clotilde and am waiting to get it but it is twin size and I'll have to convert it to full if I can. I am thinking rectangles or large squares using fat quarters that are black and white. I have a 3 6 9 pattern but it doesn't excite me and would like to use bigger blocks to make it a fast project. Thanks, Jan

hi, here is a link to a page with fabric manufacturer's links...they all have free patterns.
Once you're there, look thru for the easy ones.
    http://www.fatquartershop.com/freequ..._Id=15&T=1

And another link for easy ones:

    Too many choices...too little time!

    Have fun!

Take a look at Moda Bake Shop. http://www.modabakeshop.com They call patterns "recipes" and you click that and then click quilts and tons of neat free patterns come up. I have used some to teach with at my guild... Flights of Nature, Avignon Picnic, Sweet Menagerie. I am sure you'll find a few you like.

Try Pinterest. Tons of pics of quilts there and they will have the link underneath.

Also just Google "Free Easy Quilt Patterns" and see what happens.

Wendy, I am finding that I like the simple pattern with 10" squares in plain rows on your link. I will ask my son which quilt of two possible patterns he wants me to make. And hopefully he even cares to have one made for him at almost 18 yrs old. The other choice is a new pattern with rectangles that I ordered from Clotilde. I hope it's in the mailbox today. It makes a smaller quilt, maybe about twin size or throw size. Either way I can whip it up quick. Thanks peoples here. Jan
