    Attending Quilt Shows

I live near Hershey and plan to attend Quilt Odyssey next week. Is there a way to meet other TQS members. Do we have name tags or a way to identify ourselves. Any hints for attending my first show of this kind. I was so busy with summer guests that I didn't sign up for courses. That was probably my first big mistake. Any advise or suggestions for enjoying the show. Lois Bruno

Hi Lois, if TQS or Ricky Tims Inc. have booths, there is usually a meet and greet every day at 1 pm at that booth. Sometimes they've been held at the Superior Threads booth. But I don't know if any of those will have booths at this show. You can find out how to make a TQS name badge under the projects on the main menu bar. Here is the link (I hope): learn/projects/ but it's on page 8, near the bottom. Have fun!!

Robin, Thanks so much for the quick response. I am not sure but I think there is a Superior Thread both there. I don't think there are many TQS members in PA. The folks I know who belong to Guilds aren't into it. I can't for the life of me figure out why. I let you know how I make out. Thanks again! Lois

Lois, if you search for members in 'PA', you'll find that there are 1947. So you are not alone.

Lorchen, I hadn't thought of searching for members by state or town. I found a few members in some towns not too far away. I checked out your quilts and I like them. The owl is beautiful. How does one become that friendly with an owl? Lois Bruno
