This is my first online quilting project. I have enjoyed the process.

Finished off the inner part of my basket quilt. Still need to complete the border. Top border is done. Can you imagine that top border encircling the quilt. Sending this now because I still have twenty-some blocks to make before I start sewing the whole thing together. I needed to sash the postage stamps, idea I had from another basket block maker which saved my day! I will send the completed top when done. Am looking forward to the future planned projects. Thanks for the challenge Alex!

I'd like to try putting in a flange before I add a border. I just want to add a bit more of the gold color from the basket handles - what is the recommended finished width of a flange?

Finally finished the quilt body. I’m thinking of making a thin light colored inner border and half square triangle outer border. Is my house block too solid or dark?

Finished my top. Had to change from on point, couldn’t figure the math and this worked. I do love it. I’m thinking of adding a final border with some floating flying geese. I love your style of teaching and really look forward to next classes. Thanks so much for all the cool tips and tools.

What a fun quilt to make - I love symmetry so adjusted mine accordingly. Especially loved the baskets with handles including the 4 inch block. Many thanks for a great class.
