    Thank you Alex!

Thanks Alex. This helped me overcome the fear of doing faces. I have had lots of fun sharing my quilt with friends and family and hearing their response. I am thinking of doing a series of faces. My daughter says she loves it and wants it. It seems to be putting smiles on people’s face.

I can't figure out how to post on this forum, so I'm taking a shot here. My face is so busy I can hardly stand it, but it is also miles outside my box! The background represents the part of my life living in Speedway Indiana (hence the checkered flag fabric) and our move to the Pacific Northwest. My quilting journey is represented by the hat (fabric from my very first quilt) to the present mini quilt block from the Lizzy Albright quilt I'm working on. Plus other interests and former career. Hope the picture shows up - here goes . . .

Merlzand, you did post successfully. Here is a 6 minute video I did that should answer many of the questions about the forum:

                  https://thequiltshow.com/daily-blog/142-newsletter/28412-barbara-black-teaches-you-how-to-use-the-tqs-forum

And here are two great photos the ever helpful HelenW has posted in the past, showing how to Reply Topic when you get to the appropriate Topic. The biggest issue I have to fix repeatedly is when someone “creates a new topic” when they really want to post on a Topic already set up.
