      [quote="karonray" post=149304]When we finish our quilts, many do not like to hand sew the bindings. Alex has mentioned that she does not enjoy finishing bindings. I have been using this method for several years and always find that the flange adds something special.

      I've been using Suzi's Magic binding. I think it's basically the same. Love it!

          Just waiting for inspiration from Alex on that final block. Then sew the blocks together and decide on a border.

              Karonray, the setting plan grew with the quilt. I was working totally from stash, and took a leap of faith it would all come together. Thank you!

                      My blocks so far. I have 2 empty spaces for signature blocks next to the houses. I know what I will put on them, they just aren’t ready yet. Since I have two houses, my quilt will not be on point.

                      Oops.....it looks like my picture is sideways. Houses will be upright

                        Sewskeel, What are you trying to do. If you are trying to do Magic 8 half square triangles. I drew it up on graph paper and
                        it looks like you should get 3 1/2 inches. You laid two 8 inch squares right sides together. drew diagonal lines. stitched 1/4 seam on each side of each line;
                        then cut on the marked lines and the horizontal and vertical lines. If you look at the graph and count the 1/4 inch it should be 3 1/2. Is this for your border?
                        It is not the size you need for the on point block corner triangles. HelenW

                              That looks like it would be to small for the block on point

                                Little stitches, I think she was planning on using them for the border, but she did not say. That is why I put the on point block graph to show it was NOT the
                                right size for that. Just a little confusion. HelenW
