Her love affair with batiks began in 2018 when she discovered that high-quality batiks were ideal for appliqué. Soon after, Island Batik recognized her quilt designs and invited her to become a fabric designer for the company. Discover the techniques for creating your own turned edge machine appliqué with batiks that resembles hand appliqué. Then meet and visit the studio of renowned batik artists Jonathan and Beth Evans, who will share their intricate process for designing an intricate batik fine art piece.
