There is one corner that I do not liking the color and will trade out bottom left for a square in a square log cabin half block. Then I can put the brown on.. will send another picture once it is done.

Here’s my progress so far. I am not 100% pleased with my log cabins, but I don’t think I’ll change them. The fabrics in the blocks are more distinct in person than in the photo. These have been such great borders to learn. I’ve not generally done pieced borders in my quilts, so it’s nice to add to my design repertoire. Looking forward to next month.

Month 7 finished! Unintended 'design choice' on bottom border - should have read instructions twice then sewn once! Also changed middle of last outer square block adding extra colour stripe to match the other 3.
