International Quilting Weekend

Thank you Alex, Ricky, and Everyone who made this weekend happen! I knew from when this weekend was announced that this was just what I needed. With the exception of making sure the kids were feed, I decided to dedicate this weekend to quilting. The last month has been jam packed with one event/activity after another and, believe it or not, I have been too tired at the end of the day to quilt or stitch. On top of all of this, my aunt passed away and I haven't had any time to process it. So, I took this weekend to just "sit" with it and quilt. I watched several shows, worked on my embroidery, my blocks for Dee's class and started the BOM. It was great to refresh on the basics and most of Ricky's tips and tricks were new to me. I got a great jumpstart on all of my projects. Thank you so much!
