Trailer 3404: Learn Color Combinations and How to Make Pinecone Quilts with Betty Ford-Smith

Debuting February 18, 2024: On the next Quilt Show, our guest Betty Ford-Smith first learned about and fell in love with pinecone quilts from a 92-year-old quilter in her community. And now, she can't stop making them. Learn the traditional way to make a pinecone quilt.

Plus, how does Betty get the colors to pop in a certain colorway or rhythm? She has tips just for you. And Alex will tell you that no one is getting cold under these folded fabric heirlooms. One quilt Betty brought was 28 pounds.

Plus, Alex fell in love with these special domed buttons that Sue Spargo was sharing. Now, she wants to teach you about Kurumi buttons.

Learning something new never gets old, and we want to share with you at TheQuiltShow.com.
