The next episode of The Quilt Show features a cornucopia of artists, four to be exact, that came from all over the Bay Area to create a diverse and dynamic show for you. Lynn Koolish, Sujata Shah, Mel Beach, and Pati Fried brought their expertise in ice dyeing, lattice blocks, block printing, and fabric books to share with you. While we can't divulge all the secrets just yet, come join us on the set and get a glimpse of all the fun we had creating this show.
Debuting October 27, 2024: On the next Quilt Show, we're in Alex's backyard and we decided to create a show with four very diverse quilters from the Bay Area. There's a lot of quilter talent in these here hills, so instead of sharing the wisdom of just one guest, why not share the creativity of four?
The traditional and the modern come together in our upcoming show this Sunday. Go behind the scenes and see how Pati Fried pairs traditional hand-stitching with modern quilt design. Plus, Ricky is all in on his BERNINA Q-matic and demonstrates how to draw a tessellating digitized machine quilting patterns and tips for time saving edge-to-edge quilting.
Debuting June 2, 2024: On the next Quilt Show, Ricky is going gaga over his BERNINA Q-matic and he is stitching up a storm. Ricky will show you how he draws customized designs, and then once he loads them into his Q-matic, with a push of a button his wishes are the machine's command. Presto, no hands quilting. Plus meet Pati Fried, a member of Alex's little mini-group, who is doing some really exciting things like adding texture with slow stitch.
