The next episode of The Quilt Show features a cornucopia of artists, four to be exact, that came from all over the Bay Area to create a diverse and dynamic show for you. Lynn Koolish, Sujata Shah, Mel Beach, and Pati Fried brought their expertise in ice dyeing, lattice blocks, block printing, and fabric books to share with you. While we can't divulge all the secrets just yet, come join us on the set and get a glimpse of all the fun we had creating this show.
Debuting October 27, 2024: On the next Quilt Show, we're in Alex's backyard and we decided to create a show with four very diverse quilters from the Bay Area. There's a lot of quilter talent in these here hills, so instead of sharing the wisdom of just one guest, why not share the creativity of four?
Lynn Koolish takes the fear out of Fabric Dyeing and Shibori as she demonstrates both techniques to Alex. Then Pokey Bolton teaches Alex how to do sun printing (cyanotype printing) and how easy it is to use the Applipops circle templates for appliqué.
