The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Festival of the Cranes #24" by Gail Garber
Do a puzzle of Gail Garber's quilt, Festival of the Cranes #24.
Festival of the Cranes #24 is a raffle quilt that Gail made in 2017 for the Hawks Aloft Organization, which does research on wild populations of birds, helps to educate the population on the subject, and does conservation work. She writes, "I have long had a passion for group quilts and began designing and coordinating group quilts since the mid 1980s. Every year, I design a new raffle quilt for Hawks Aloft that 12 of us gather in a retreat setting to stitch the quilt top, usually in one day. It’s my little Sweat Shop with mountains of fun and friendship."
