Textile Talks: 100th Episode Celebration!
That's right, Textile Talks is having its 100th episode. To celebrate the occasion, they are turning the mic over to their sponsors and other members of the quilting world to learn how Textile Talks has made a difference over the last two years worth of shows. The 100th episode airs this Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 2 PM EDT.
From SAQA:
"Join us on Wednesday, May 11 at 2pm EDT for a celebration of the 100th episode of Textile Talks, the virtual lecture series presented by a consortium of five fibers organizations: International Quilt Museum, Quilt Alliance, Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles, and Surface Design Association (and a sixth founding partner, the Modern Quilt Guild). Textile Talks started in April of 2020 as a collaborative effort to bring educational and inspirational programming to the homes of our collective membership. With a dedicated audience that is still growing in size and diversity, we are thrilled to continue offering these weekly presentations with the help of our sponsors. For the 100th episode we will flip the mic and hear from some of our sponsors who will be sharing their quilt stories. Next, leaders from each of the presenting organizations will discuss how Textile Talks have made a difference in their outreach efforts since the pandemic. And don’t miss our exciting 100th episode door prize drawing to win prizes donated by sponsors and presenting organizations – you must be in attendance to win!"
This Textile Talk takes place, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. Future installments are held online at 2 p.m. Eastern (11 a.m. Pacific) each Wednesday.
