Who is Wen Redmond?
New England artist, Wen Redmond explores her medium, fiber, focusing on experimentation and expanding its presentation. Her unique artistic work merges digital processes, photography, collage, media mix and surface design.
She has been published widely in books and magazines, featured on Quilting Arts Television, Interweave Publishing DVD workshop, and online workshop with Fibre Arts Take Two from Australia. She has published 2 books, Digital Fiber Art and her upcoming book, Explorations with Collage! Merging Photographs, Paper & Fiber.
Her work is included in permanent collections of Marbaum, San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles, CA, Maria V. Howard Arts Center, NC, New England Quilt Museum, Lowell MA, and privately. She has published 2 books, Digital Fiber Art and her new book, Explorations with Collage! Merging Photographs, Paper & Fiber. She currently splits her time between North Carolina and New Hampshire.
